μείρομαι

I.to receive as one's portion or due, καὶ ἥμισυ μείρεο τιμῆς take half the honour as thy due, Il.
II.in perf. to have one's share of, c. gen., ἔμμορε τιμῆς he has gotten his share of honour, Hom.
III.in 3rd sg. perf. pass. εἵμαρται, impers. it is allotted, decreed by fate, Plat.; plup. εἵμαρτο, it was decreed, Hom.; εἵμαρτο Dem., etc.:—part., εἱμαρμένος, η, ον, ordained, destined, allotted, Theogn., Aesch., etc.; εἱμαρμένη (sc. μοῖρα), that which is allotted, destiny, Plat.
