ἶσος (ϝῖσος, Att. ἴσος), ι?ση, ἶσον: equal in size, weight, or number, also like; freq. ι?ση as subst., μή τίς μοι ἀτεμβόμενος κίοι ι?σης, of an equal share in the feast, Od. 9.42, Il. 11.705, Il. 12.423; also ἶσα as subst, ‘reparation,’ Od. 2.203. —Adv., ἶσον, ἶσα, equally, on equal terms, Il. 9.616; also κατὰ ϝῖσα, ἐπὶ ϝῖσα, ‘equally balanced,’ ‘undecided, Il. 11.336, Il. 12.436, Il. 15.413.
