Aliphe'rus

Ἀλίφηρος), or HALIPHE'RUS, one of the sons of Lycaon, killed by Zeus with a flash of lightning for their insolence. (

The town of Aliphera or Alipheira in Arcadia was believed to have been founded by him, and to have derived its name from him. (
