Strymon

（Στρυμών), a son of Oceanus and Tethys, was a river god of Thrace, and is called a king of Thrace. (Hes. Theog. 339 ; Conon, Narr. 4 ; Ant. Lib. 21.) By Euterpe or Calliope, he became the father of Rhesus (Apollod. 1.3.4 ; Eurip. Rhes. 347), and by Neaera of Euadne. (Apollod. 2.1.2.)

In the article on Soranus, we find: "at this present time (1848)" and this date seems to reflect the dates of works cited. 1873 - probably the printing date.
