Little, Charles Joseph 1840-

Educator; born in Philadelphia, Sept. 21, 1840; graduated at the University of Pennsylvania in 1861; professor in Dickinson College in 1874-85; in Syracuse University in 1885-91; and in Garrett Biblical Institute in 1891-99; then became president of the latter institution. He has written much both for American and English periodicals, and was the Fernley lecturer to the British Methodist Episcopal Conference for 1900.
