Robberies.

--Between twelve o'clock and daybreak yesterday morning robberies were committed upon the storerooms of John W. Ripley and Thomas Stoningham, occupying adjoining tenements, near the extreme end of Baker street. Both tenements were entered through the basement windows, the thieves first cutting out a slat from the shutters, so that they could insert their hands and raise the catch. From Mr. Stoningham they made a rich haul, as he had just laid in a supply of lard, bacon, sugar, tea, and one barrel of flour, all of which they carried off. Only a few pounds of bacon and lard, together with a small pot of honey, were taken from Mr. Ripley. The thieves were evidently prepared to operate on or extensive scale, as, from tracks in the rear alley, they must have had a wagon with them, into which they deposited their plunder as fast as they were enabled to get it out.
