--The basement story of Mr. Samuel Steinfelt's residence, on Brook avenue, near Goddin's tavern, was broken into on Thursday night, and his storeroom therein robbed of from two to three hundred pounds of bacon, a large lot of candles, twenty-five pounds of sugar, six or eight pounds of coffee, and some other articles of groceries by panel was cut from the door by the thieves, and afterwards unlocked from the inside.
