Petersburg affairs. --There were 278 deaths in Petersburg during the year just ended, being thirty-seven more than in 1859. The Petersburg Cavalry have received 75 Colt's revolvers, purchased by subscription of the citizens. The Rifles have received their arms--sixty muskets — from the State. The inspections of tobacco in Petersburg, during the last quarter, were as follows: West Hill, 639 hhds; A gain of over the corresponding quarter of 1850, Moore's, 587, a gain of 289 hhds.; Oes 247, a gain of 102 hhds.; Centre, 736--gain not reported.
