I have never seen a greater concourse of people at Louisa Court than were here yesterday. The advertisement of ninety servants for sale brought many who are not in the habit of attending here. One would hardly think of the existence of a financial crisis while seeing the high prices given for negroes. One sold for some $1,300. Several went upwards of $1,200, while many brought from $00 to $1,000 a piece.
