Arrival of the Niagara at Boston. Boston,March 11.--The steamer Niagara, from Liverpool via Halifax, arrived here this evening. The main features of her advices have been telegraphed from Halifax. She brings $3,000,000. Via Queenstown we have some additional items of news: Turin, Saturday.--Admiral Persano has arrived off Messina, which he will summon to surrender. Rome, Friday.--The National Committee have issued a proclamation declaring that Victor Emanuel will soon be proclaimed King from the Capitol, and expresses thanks to France. The French authorities have taken possession of the keys of the Capitol. Vienna, Saturday.--It is reported that Austria, Russia and Prussia have concluded a convention to act in concert in case of a Polish or Hungarian outbreak. Liverpool, Saturday.--Cotton — Sales of 10,000 bales, including 3,000 bales for export. Messrs. Hewitt & Co., report the market as buoyant, with an advancing tendency. Prices are ½d. hig
Lake Navigation. Sarnia, C. W., March 11. --The steamer Ruby, from Detroit, arrived Saturday night, the first boat of the season. Buffalo, March 11.--The statement of the losses of life and property on the lakes during the year 1860 was published this morning. It shows a total loss by steam and sail vessels of $1,020,100, being an increase over the previous year of $135,915; loss of life in 1860, 579--an increase over 1859 of 473.
Counterfeits. Philadelphia,March 11.--Peterson's detector notified the public that spurious tens of the Warren Bank, South Danvers, Mass., have been extensively circulated. Many arrests of counterfeiters were made.
