Runaways in jail. --Was committed to the jail of Henrico county as runaways the following Slaves, vis. Adam — Said to belong to Col. Wyatt Alkin, of South Carolina. The said negro is about 30 years old, 5 feet 8 inches high, and not very black. Had on when committed a suit of linen clothes. Jeremiah — Said to be the property of G. R. Charley wright, near Front Royall, Va. Said slave is about 12 years old. yellow complexion, 4 feet 8 inches high, and had on when committed a full suit of Yankee uniform clothing.
