r. Macfarland moved to amend Mr. Scott's amendment by striking out the word "and" after the word "Missouri," indicating his purpose to move a further amendment by adding "and Virginia." The Committee refused to strike out. Resolved, That we approve of the course of our present representative in the Virginia Convention, and also of our late delegate in the Legislature, by saying, "Well done, good and faithful servants, you needed no instructions to do your duty.
