Gunboat fund. We have received through the Post-Office a letter from Mrs. P. C. Carter, of Goochland, containing two dollars, as a contribution to the gunboat fund. Let the ladies of Virginia and the South imitate the example of Mrs. C., and send in their contributions. A little from each will make a large amount in the aggregate.
