Three of the bridges burned on the Orange and Alexandria Railroad by the Secessionists have been completed, and yesterday a train of cars passed over the road as far as it has been repaired. The New York Fire Zouaves mounted several cannon yesterday on their breastworks, just west of Alexandria, and heavy guns are being mounted all along the line of earthworks between that city and Arlington Heights. Yesterday President Lincoln, accompanied by Secretaries Cameron and Chase, paid a visit to the camps over the river, where they were received with great enthusiasm. The party spent some time in examining the fortifications, and left highly pleased with the completeness and perfection of the arrangements for defence.
