lave of Wm. Brown, was ordered to be licked for going about with a dirk knife instead of his pass. Peter C. King, James Hundley, Wm. H. Comstock, and Charles Suras, arrested by officers Kelley and Quarles as being concerned in the robbery of Chiles & Chenery's store, on Broad street, were partially examined, and committed to be sent back to Petersburg, where they were arrested. James H. Goodist was fined $1 for getting drunk in the Theatre, where he behaved disorderly. Wm. M. Almond, arrested by the watch Friday night for being drunk and wandering about the streets without any place to stay, was admonished and let off. Carolina Lezace and Myer Myera, charged with receiving a lot of dry goods stolen from Chiles & Chanery, were examined and sent on to the Husting; Court on the second Monday in March.
