The Hustings Court commenced its regular monthly session, in the City Hall, yesterday. After transacting some routine business, the court proceeded to elect two aldermen in the place of Messrs. Charles B. Hill and Robert M. Burton. E. A. J. Clopton was chosen for Jefferson Ward, and William F. Butler for Madison Ward.-- Messrs. John M. Francisco, Cadmus C. Johnson, and G. W. H. Tyler, Commissioners of the Revenue, appeared to answer a presentment made against them by the grand jury at the last term of the court, for negligence in the discharge of their duties, and, by the advice of the court, the attorney for the Commonwealth entered a nolle prosequi in each case. As we were instrumental in bringing these gentlemen before the court, it affords us pleasure to record their acquittal.--A nol. pros. was also entered in each of the cases of E. W. Usher, B.
