ight viz: Geo Deane, master's mate, and seven sailors belonging to the schr Matthew Vassar, captured at Little River Inlet, on the N. C. coast, March 3d.--Also, 16 Yankees belonging to the 8th New York cavalry, taken in custody March 5th, at Union Church, in Prince William co, Va. These men represent that they have only been in service three months, and had never received any pay. They were rather hard-looking subjects. With these parties were brought down two citizens of Richmond, named H. P. Derby and J. G. Sizer. They were taken in custody near Raccoon Ford, in Fairfax county, by order of Gen Fitzhugh Lee, on the 3d of March, on the charge of trying to cross our lines with the supposed design of getting to the enemy. This they both denied. They had pass ports from the Provost Marshal of Richmond permitting them to visit Henrico county. Information was received yesterday, that Yankee prisoners to the number of 8,000 might soon be expected in Richmond from the South and West. T
