Virginia annual Conference. --This body sat again yesterday with closed doors, engaged, it is understood, in the trials of two ministers against whom very serious charges have been preferred. In a notice of the proceedings of the Conference a city paper yesterday morning stated that Rev. D. S. Doggett, the esteemed pastor of the Broad Street Church, in this city, for the past two years, was one of the ministers on trial before the Conference. This is a mistake.--One of the ministers against whom these charges are made is named Doggett, but he is only a distant connection of Dr. David S. Doggett. The Conference will probably adjourn soon after these cases are disposed of.
