The Prince of Wales Overboard --The London Mercantile Gazette, of May 13th, has the following: "The Prince of Wales met with an accident while boating yesterday. His Royal Highness and Captain Grey were amusing themselves in a small boat, known here as a "tub," on the river at the back of Trinity, and near Gerard a Hotel bridge, when one of them lost his car, and in an attempt to recover it the boat was upset, and the Prince and Captain Grey were precipitated into the water. Fortung themselves in a small boat, known here as a "tub," on the river at the back of Trinity, and near Gerard a Hotel bridge, when one of them lost his car, and in an attempt to recover it the boat was upset, and the Prince and Captain Grey were precipitated into the water. Fortunately the water is not deep at this spot, and the Cam cannot boast of with anywhere — Assistance was at hand, and the Prince and his company were soon on shore again, the only inconvenience experienced being a wetting."
