A Sad accident. --We regret to learn that Mr. David Hendricks, a respectable citizen of Bulloch county, was accidentally shot dead on Saturday night last. The circumstances, as related to us, are as follows: A man named Rigdon, of that county, having been committing depredations for some time upon his neighbors' property, and said Rigdon being an outlaw, a vigilance committee was formed to arrest him, and went out with shot guns on Saturday night in pursuit of Rigdon, when the committee e as follows: A man named Rigdon, of that county, having been committing depredations for some time upon his neighbors' property, and said Rigdon being an outlaw, a vigilance committee was formed to arrest him, and went out with shot guns on Saturday night in pursuit of Rigdon, when the committee got separated by some means, and, coming together in the dark, one party took the other for the object their pursuit, and fired, killing Mr. Hendricks instantly.--Waynesboro' (Ga.)
