Continued. --Charles Langford, one of the parties charged with assaulting and beating, with intent to rob; a soldier named George North, on Sunday night last, appeared before the Mayor on Saturday to answer for the offence; but owing to the absence of witnesses the investigation was adjourned till to-day.
