The citizens of Church Hill, feeling the necessity of preparing to defend their firesides in case of an incursion from the North, have determined to associate and arm themselves for home protection. A meeting for that object will be held at Messrs. Miller's School- room, on Broad street, opposite St. John's Church, for the purpose of organizing, at which it is hoped all the heads of families on the Hill will be present. The meeting will take place on Thursday night, April 18th, at 8 o'clock.
