The following Senators were appointed by the President as the Committee of Conference, to meet a similar committee appointed by the House of Delegates, to consider the differences between the two Houses relative to the election bill, viz: Messrs. Johnson, Newton, Dulaney, Thomas and Alderson. On motion of Mr. Johnson, the House bill, providing for an increase of the salaries of circuit judges, was taken up, read the third time and passed. On motion of Mr. Newman, of Mason, the Senate went into secret session. House of Delegates. The House met at 11 A. M. The business done was of the desultory sort, and of a local, rather than general interest, and consisted in the reception of reports from committees, and resolutions of expediency and inquiry from members. Several local and private bills were passed, and at 3 P. M. the House adjourned.
