Runaway --$40 Reward.--Left my plantation, in Charlotte county, Va., ten miles above Clarksville, about the first of August, my negro boy Henry. Said boy is about sixteen years old, five feet four or five inches high, yellow complexion, thickly built, and prompt to reply when spoken to. His forehead is low, and countenance indicative of stubbornness. He was purchased a year or two since from Mr. J B. Hodge near Townsville, N. C; has a mother living near Williamsboro, N. C, and he is no doubt lurking in the vicinity of those places. I will pay the above reward to any one who may deliver him to my overseer, at home, or to Mr. J. W. Love. and Clarksville, Va; or $25 if he is confined in jail so that I can get him. Any information will be addressed to Mr. P. S. Roberts, Red Oah Grove P O., Charlotte county, Va. se 5--2t* Thos. D. Jeffress.
