e Judge Lyons's court. Joseph Wagner was examined for feloniously shooting Norman Green, on the 20th day of January, and remanded for trial before Judge Lyons. Mary E. Allen, charged with a felony, in stabbing Wm. T. Chalkley in the left breast, on the 5th day of February, in Lombard alley, was examined and acquitted. On motion of the Attorney for the Commonwealth, rules were awarded against Andrew Pizzini, E. K. Woodward, and Theo. Elmore, for not attending as jurors when summoned. Alfred Hill, free negro, was tried on the charge of stealing $1.000 from Wm. Gibboney, on the 23d day of December, at the Ballard House, and acquitted. The application of Jas. H. Chappell for an ordinary license, was heard and rejected. Charles A. Rose, R. R. Howison, and R. D. Ward, qualified as Notaries Public, by entering into the bonds usual on such occasions. The Grand Jury sits again to-day at 11 o'clock, at which time witnesses would do well to be in attendance.

One of the women, named Roberta, a bright mulatto, is about 35 years of age, with a downcast look; her two children, Ellen and Isham;--Ellen is about 13 years of age and very likely, and of spare make; Isham is a good looking boy, of about 11 or 12 years of age; and a woman, named Louisa, of neat appearance, and with defective teeth. These negroes are supposed to be lurking in the city, or may have attempted to get to the enemy's lines. The above reward will be given for the four, or $15 a piece for each of them. Chas. A. n, named D. Baccigaluppi, was sent on to the Hustings Court, after an examination upon the charge of receiving two boxes of tobacco and one bag of meal, worth $400, knowing it to have been stolen. Martha Harris, a free negro, was ordered twenty-five lashes for entering the house of Charles Palmer, with the intent of committing a larceny. The counsel in this case asked for an appeal from His Honor's decision, which was granted. The charge preferred against Jack, the property of Chas. A. Rose, of stealing an overcoat from another negro, was not sustained by the testimony, whereupon the accused was dismissed. Wm. H. Wales, a member of Parker's battery, arraigned on the charge of attempting to obtain three pairs of pants under false pretences from Myer Kraker, was examined, and the evidence falling to substantiate the complaint, he was promptly discharged.
