Richmond Circuit court, yesterday. --Chas. Scott & Co. Va. Board of Public Works.--As this case is one of some interest, we propose to give a brief synopsis of it: At the last meeting of the Legislature a law was passed ordering the Board of Public Works to impress the property of Charles Scott & Co., in Smythe and Washington counties, for the purpose of procuring salt for the citizens of Virginia at a reduced rate.
