Richmond and Danville R S,Sup'r's office, Richmond, April 5, 1864. Ran Away — From near Roanoke Station Richmond and Danville Railroad, a dark mulatto boy named John, the property of R A A Waleck, of Nottoway county, about 18 years old, 5 feet 8 or 11 inches high. He had on when he left a brown Virginia cloth coat and a blue military cap, Fifty dollars will be paid for his recovery. Chas G Talbott. Sup't E & D R R. ap 7--2w
Richmond & Danville R R Supt's officer Richmond, March 30, 1864. Supposed to have Run Away — John, the property of R A A Watcon, of Nottoway county, hired to work on the Richmond & Danville Railroad. He had a pass to go to his master's on the 18th inst, since which time he has not been heard now. He is a dark mulatto, about five feet ten inches high, and is of slender build, very sprightly, and about 18 years old. He is supposed to be either at Petersburg or Lynchburg. He has been a trust hand on the South Side Railroad. The usual reward will be paid for his apprehension. C G Talbott, Sup't. mh 31--2w
