I will pay a liberal reward for the arrest and delivery to me, or confinement in some jail so that I may get him, of my man Stokes, who left my house, in Amelia county, on the 18th of January, and is evidently attempting to make his escape to the Yankees, or has hired himself to work in some camp. Stokes is about 23 years of age, 5 feet 6 or 8 inches high, black complexion, and has a large scar on his side, occasioned by a barn. Mary A Hardaway.
