Confederate Senators. Messrs. R. M. T. Hunter, and William Ballard Preston, were yesterday elected Senators from the State of Virginia to the Confederate Congress. Mr. Hunter being now Secretary of State of the Confederate Government, his election to the Senate will occasion a vacancy in the Cabinet.

Justice, made the following reports; An adverse report to the resolution requiring Railroad companies to pay full value for stock killed on their road, An adverse report as to the expediency of confiscating the bonds, &c., of the State of Virginia held by the United States. The following bills were reported: A bill to incorporate the Mutual Life Insurance Co. A bill to authorize the Board of Public Works to transfer the South western turnpike to the counties in which iFloyd7 William Daniel, Jr.2 James M. Mason1 James Barbour1 Henry A. Wise1 Whole number of votes, 164; necessary to a choice, 83. The Speaker then announced that Robert M. T. Hunter and William Ballard Preston, having the largest number of votes, were duly elected Confederate States Senators from the State of Virginia. On motion of Mr. Anderson, of Botetourt, the bill to organize the Virginia forces was made the order of the day for to-morrow. The House then adjourned.
