Romney occupied by our Rangers. The Rockingham Register states that the force of Rangers under Col. J. D. Imboden, of Augusta, is doing good service in the mountains of Northern Virginia. Last week, in the neighborhood of Romney, Hampshire county, some of his men came upon a party of Yankees, and captured two and killed and wounded several others. They obtained nine Yankee horses, fully equipped, besides some revolvers, sabres, carbines, &c. The last heard of Col. I.'s force it was in occupancy of Romney.
