Senate bill, to establish a bureau of foreign supplies, was considered and passed. Mr. Jemison introduced a bill to legalize the organization of eight companies of cadets in the State of Alabama. Referred to the Committee on Military Affairs. A message was received from the House of Representatives announcing the passage of resolutions relative to the death of the Hon D. M. Currin, of Tenn. Enologies on the deceased were delivered by Messrs. Henry, of Tenn, Mitchell, of Arit, and Walson, of Miss; after which the Senate adjourned. House of Representatives--The House met at 11 o'clock A.
