The Hon. Roger A. Pryor arrived home today, after a speaking tour through several counties of this district He expresses himself as highly gratified with the enthusiastic receptions he met with at every point. He visited various portions of Pittsylvania, Charlotte and Amelia counties, and states that the masses are "hungry" for secession, and that their enthusiasm cannot be imagined, unless seen. He has invitations pouring in upon him every day to address the people at different points, extending even into North Carolina. He is physically tired and jaded, but mentally fresh and anxious to make addresses and give enlightenment wherever he can. The next place he will visit will probably be Norfolk. A serious cutting affray occurred
