A sad occurrence. --Francis A. Karl, artificer in the Third Company, and P. C. Lane, private in the Fourth Company Washington Artillery, died in the cars last night, shortly after the battalion left the depot. Their bodies were brought back by Hon. J. O. Nix. on and Mr. John Wood, at a late hour last night. Death was caused by cerebral congestion, as we are informed.--N. O. Della, 29th.
