Shouting --On Saturday night, between 7 and 8 o'clock, a man named William Mott, formerly proprietor of a drinking house, was shot by John Wade, in the vegetable market, on 17th street. It is stated that Wade had procured the gun for the purpose of shooting another person, and that Mott was probably hit through mistake.
