Wanted — Recruits.
--The Varias Artillery, stationed at Hardy's Bluff, on James River, is desirous of filling its ranks to the number of one hundred efficient men, and we earliestly appeal to the citizens of Richmond, Henrico, and the adjoining counties, who are not now in the volunteer service, to unite with us at once in the defence of the most important position on James river.

--Ranaway from my residence, in Ashland, Hanover county, Va., on Thursday, 20th March, my servant woman, named Fanny, about 20 years old; low in stature; ginger-bread color; rather long hair, and when spoken to has a pleasant look.
I purchased her from O. Cranz, trustee, in this city, last fall.
She only be lurking about the city.
