The 2d company Washington artillery Captain Rosser, performed a rather unusual feat — gradually nearing an enemy's battery, firing meanwhile, until they actually "charged" the battery out of position. Among the killed in the fight on the 30th, was Col. William Falls, while heading a Tennessee regiment. He was formerly a citizen of Richmond, and was a brave officer. His body has been recovered and will be interred at his old home. Below is a list of the names of some of the officers of General G. T. Anderson's brigade, from Georgia, killed and wounded in the battles at Manassas: Killed--Col. Wilson, comd'g 7th Ga.; Captain Phinesy, co. K, 8th Ga.; Capt. Hulsey, co. F, 8th Ga.
