The battle lasted several hours. The Federal victory was complete. Sixty rebels were killed and the same number wounded. Blunt thinks the rebels will not again venture north of Boston Mountain this winter. The New York Herald of the 3d, also received to-day, contains nothing of interest. No news from Falmouth. The railroad from Aquia Creek is in complete order. A reconnaissance on Sunday discovered no rebels in a certain direction. The rebels were still fortifying, and show no signs of retreat. The Hibernian brings European dates to the 21st. Another Confederate steamer had left Liverpool, and still another was nearly ready. Nothing looking to intervention.
