From Fredericksburg. The passengers who arrived in the city yesterday afternoon by the Fredericksburg train, bring us no later information with reference to the condition of affairs above. It is stated that all is quiet, and the fact that a bloody battle has recently been fought, is scarcely realized. Our troops are said to be in the best possible spirits, and ready for any emergency; though they do not contemplate another collision with the forces of Burnside very shortly.
Castle Thunder Items. --The following parties were received in Castle Thunder on yesterday. Wm Pettus, Fayette Artillery, deserter; Samuel Morris, co D, 4th Va, under sentence of court-martial; J C and Lewis Shiflett, sent by order of Maj Boyle, at Gordonsville, to be forwarded to their regiments at Drury's Bluff; Wm Riley, charged with having British papers illegally; Thos Jones and Charles Grace, having no papers, and Wm Campbell, 3d Va, to be sent to his regiment under guard.

Brilliant Affair at Lexington, Tenn. Chattanooga, Dec. 23. --A special dispatch to the Rebel, from Tuscumbia, Dec. 23d, says: A gentleman arrived here to-day with the corpse of his brother, killed in a fight at Lexington Tennessee, says General Forrest attacked and routed the Federal there on the 18th, capturing a battery, horses and all, and 400 prisoners, 500 carbines, 200 horses, several hundred saddles, and a considerable amount of commissary stores. The citizens reported the enemy 5,000 strong, mostly new recruits. Our loss very trifling. A man here says the Yankees had returned from Okolona.
