Hog stealing. --Henderson Johnson and his wife were before the Mayor yesterday to answer the charge of receiving two hogs, stolen from Mr.Angel, knowing the same to have been stolen. Mr. Angel traced his lost "porkers" to the cook shop of the prisoners, where he found their dead and mutilated carcases.--Johnson proved that he purchased the swine of a free negro, and that they were delivered between 1 and 5 o'clock in the morning. The parties were remanded for a further hearing.
