Judge Halyburton yesterday spent the session of his Court in hearing and disposing of habeas corpus cases. None of them were of any public interest.
Court-room needed. --Judge Halyburton, of the C. S. Court, has no fixed place at present for the transaction of public business. He is now occupying a room in the State Court-House, but Judge Gregory, of the Henrico Circuit, will need that in a few days for his fall term. It is not improbable that the action of the Legislature will cause some of the fine rooms on Main street, now used for illegal purposes, to be vacated, at once, and in that event Judge H. may find good accommodations in the central part of the city.
