Obstructing the sidewalk. --Indians, a slave, for failing to give the sidewalk to a lady on 3d street, on Sunday last, was before the Mayor yesterday, and sentenced to the last. His Honor directed his officers to report all similar cases, assuring them that he intended to enforce the ordinance, and teach all negroes to know their places.
