When the doors were opened, Mr. Haymond, of Marion, moved, by resolution, that the order of the House closing the doors at one o'clock P. M., every day, be rescinded; and the resolution rescinding the same was agreed to. So the doors remained open. The Committee on Finance reported a substitute for the bill to supply Virginia soldiers in the field with boots, clothing, blankets, etc. A bill was reported organizing a department of agriculture, manufactures and commerce.
