--While I am writing an amusing colle is in progress near the camp- fire between out Joyce, the scout, and a port young buttermit langer:
Buttermilk.--"What sort of gun's that, element?"
Old Joyce.--"That's a volcanic rifle."
Buttermilk.--"How many times will't shoot?"
Out Joyce.--"Ten thousand Hares if you keep it long enough."
Buttermilk.--"Yes, but without loading?"
Old Joyce.--"Nary time."
Buttermilk.--"You're a smart eleman."
Old Joyce.-out Joyce, the scout, and a port young buttermit langer:
