I. i. 107 “this and romage in the land” ;—adv. with all possible haste R2 I. iv. 55 “hath sent ” ; also “haste-post-haste” as compound sb. 3H6 II. i. 139 “In haste- are come to join you” ; and as adj.=expeditious Oth. I. ii. 37 “requires your haste- appearance” ; similarly “postpost-haste” as adj. Oth. I. iii. 46. ∥ The old direction on letters was ‘haste, post, haste’, being an exhortation to the courier.
