Plan
Usually the top, overview of a site or building showing the arrangement of objects and architecture. Description: Comparable to a modern road map in both purpose and layout. A complete plan should contain a scale for measuring distance, a compass or direction indicator and a key for explanation of any conventions without apparent meaning. The intent of a plan is to show location and placement, not appearances.
