καὶaccordingly

γυμνητεία = οἱ γυμνῆτες. They were armed with swords. So Eur. Andr. 1119 uses ἀτευχὴς of one who has laid aside his weapons of defence, but retains his sword.

προσῄει—attracted into the number of γυμνητεία.
