T. FLAVIUS SABINUS, DOMUS

the house of the brother of Vespasian (or of his son) on the Quirinal between the Alta Semita and the vicus Longus, just south of the present church of S. Andrea, as is shown by the discovery of a travertine cippus' (Tae. Hist. iii. 69; CIL vi. 29788; xv. 7451; cf. Pros. ii. 73. 231 ; 74. 234-where these inscriptions are not cited; RhM 1894, 400, 401).
