(Delph.); “γυναικὶ μὴ πίστευε τὸν . . βίον” Men.Mon.86; also “περὶ τῶν ἐμῶν τούτῳ ἀξιῶ πιστεύειν ὑμᾶς” Lys.30.7:—Med., have entrusted to one, “ἀρχήν” Berichte der russ. Akad. fuür Gesch. der materiellen Kultur 4.82 (Olbia, ii/iii A.D.):—Pass., πιστεύεσθαί τι to be entrusted with a thing, have it committed to one, παρά or ὑπό τινος, Plb.3.69.1, Phylarch.24J., cf.
