A.suffering, distress, arising from a thing, “παιδείας ὄτλονA. Th.18; “νυμφείων ὄτλονS.Tr.7 (as the Sch., though the Ms. gives ὄκνον). (ὄτλος, ὀτλέω, ὀτλήμων seem to be cogn. with τάλας, τλῆναι, τλήμων.)
