I.v. infra), f., = ἱππαγωγοί, vessels for transporting horses, cavalry-transports: “quinque et triginta naves, quas hippagogus vocant, ab Elea profectae, cum equitibus Gallis equisque,Liv. 44, 28, 7; cf. hippagines and hippegus.
